Power Explosion is entering our 24th season in business here in Charlotte Hall, MD and we are jumping for joy! We would love to welcome your family to ours and invite you to join our studio!
Our staff is experienced and professional, with a true LOVE for dance and children. Whether you are joining our Regional & National Championship Winning Company or our EXCITING & Fun-Filled Recreational Division, our focus is not only on teaching the art and technique of dance but teaching our students that with responsibility, dedication and hard work you can achieve anything you set your mind to!
Many of our students have moved on to dance after Power Explosion via scholarships at Universities such as Point Park, Towson & George Mason, and have also had successful professional careers around the world with Disneyland, sports teams and with various professional dance companies and musical artists!!
WHAT IS THE COST?
Our pricing depends on the type of class (solo, duo, group, company, recreational, etc) and length of class. We are pleased to offer competitive pricing with other studios in the local area. Please contact us for pricing questions.
WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?
Our brand new TWIRL PROGRAM is 100% unique to Power Explosion in the local area and is designed to help our youngest dancers have a unbeatable introduction to dance while keeping it fun and exciting with a variety of special activities & surprises. This program, designed by Confetti on The Dance Floor is a fun + fanciful approach to dance class!
As a supplement to our existing curriculum, Twirl is a fun + fanciful approach to dance class, and inspires creativity and imagination in your child while reinforcing dance basics.
Along with the new Twirl program, we continue to offer all of our other awesome classes for dancers of all ages among the spectrum of disciplines!! From ballet or hip hop to jazz or tap, we offer it all!! We love watching our dancers progress throughout the year both with dance and with self-confidence!

August 6th, 15th, 20th and 23rd from 5:30pm-7:30pm
August 18th SATURDAY from 2pm-4pm
Company Registration Dates: Ages 5 & Up! (Audition Required)
July 25 & 26th from 5:30pm-7:30pm
August 8th & 13th 5:30-7:30
