MINI COMPETITIVE LINE
Power Explosion's Mini team is the first step of our competitive company, for dancers who love to get on stage, have fun and dance!
Minis: Ages 5-9
Competitive lines are also chosen based on ability, so ages are subject to change.
Dancers can audition or may also be invited to the Mini Company where they will receive their dance education from our top-notch company staff and will participate in various performances and competitions but with fewer requirements and studio hours than our Elite Petite, Junior, and Teen/Senior Company members.
Mini Company Class Attire & Requirements
ALL Classes:
- A positive attitude
- Good work ethic
- No tardiness, unless the office has been notified
- NO SOCKS!
- WATER BOTTLES ONLY IN DANCE ROOMS
Ballet Classes:
- leotard and tights
- ballet shoes
- hair in bun
ALL Choreography/Technique Classes:
- TIGHT clothing; i.e. Leotards, tights, leggings, athletic shorts, spandex shorts, sports bras, fitted t-shirts/tank tops (All additional layers such as sweatpants, loose fitting shirts and sweatshirts/jackets will be asked to be removed)
- correct shoes for each class; i.e. tap shoes for tap, jazz shoes for jazz, tennis shoes for hip hop
- hair pulled back out of face
- 2023 SUMMER INTENSIVE: This intensive is MANDATORY for all Company Dancers. Full payment will be due by August 11th, 2023
- MINI/JUNIOR COMPANY ADMINISTRATIVE FEE: This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and is due in addition to your registration fee. Annual Administrative fee of $125.00 for (1) dancer; $155.00 for (2) dancers; and $185.00 for (3+) dancers. (Multiple dancers must be SIBLINGS.) This fee is used to offset administrative costs for competitions/conventions, guest instructors/choreographers, etc.
- COMPANY REHEARSAL FEE: Our Mini and Junior Company dancers will have a rehearsal fee of $100.00 due in two installments of $50.00 with your November and March Tuition. This fee covers (6) rehearsals on (6) Sundays to help prepare for competition. These (6) dates are TBD.
- MINI/JUNIOR COMPANY DANCER ATTIRE: All Company Dancers are required to have the mandatory Company Dance Attire. Any additional PE attire is optional. Company dancers will also be required to purchase the required competition make-up and earrings. All information in regards to this can be found in the office or email us at poweresd2007@aol.com
